Join us at the Odell Public Library on Saturday, February 15 at 1pm for an author visit by Carol Edwards. Carol is new to the area and will be making her home in Morrison.
Rescuing Love, a contemporary inspirational fiction novel published under Carol Denekas, was available to the public March 2014. Seeds of Hope, her second novel and was released in June 2016 as Carol Edwards. A program with refreshments will be provided and author signed novels will be available for purchase. Both novels are also available on amazon.com. This event is free and open to the public. Both fiction novels are set in the Midwest. Seeds of Hope is set in western Iowa and has the fictional Seeds of Hope Children’s Home as its heart. The novel takes readers on a journey that spans the decades beginning in 1917 and reaching to 2015. Carol’s work has been described as “faith-filled” and “spiritual” and, she as “a strong writer whose story engages all the senses and pulls you in from the very beginning. It made me yearn for home and brought to the forefront the appeal of small-town life again.” Carol is busy on her third novel, which will be set in Jackson County, Iowa. She also connects with other writers through her independent writing business as a writing coach, editor, cover artist, and inspirational public speaker. She is available to visit your group. Connect with Carol at www.caroledwardsauthor.com or 563-564-2195.
