NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) 2016 began on Tuesday, November 1 at the James Kennedy Pubic Library in Dyersville, Iowa. We had 4 participants for this creative month-long journey toward finishing a rough draft novel of at least 50,000 words. If you aim to write each day, that's 1667 words a day in the month of November. Writers are already checking in and keeping me posted on their progress.
We have set aside Wednesday, November 30 7pm for a "Meet the Author" program where each of our 4 authors will share about their work. This will be open to the public. Refreshmens will be served. I hope you will take time to stop by and encourage our local writing talent. Event will be held at the James Kennedy Public Library in Dyersville, Iowa. #NaNoWriMo2016

AuthorI grew up and have lived in Iowa until recently when I moved to a small town in Illinois to begin a new chapter in my life which includes a loving supportive husband and numerous grandchildren to spoil. I have three beautiful daughters and a Miniature Schnauzer. I'm interested in anything that supports healthy families and healthy lifestyles. Archives
