NaNoWriMo is a national writing challenge and stands for National Novel Writing Month. In November everyone is encouraged to put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard and try to complete a novel. Libraries across the nation offer programs to encourage and assist writers of all ages and backgrounds. Although we are still enjoying summer weather and fun I wanted to get the word out about this creative opportunity. Although writing should start in November, a lot of planning could happen prior to that. Hard to believe but November is right around the corner:) So check out nanowrimo.org

AuthorI grew up and have lived in Iowa until recently when I moved to a small town in Illinois to begin a new chapter in my life which includes a loving supportive husband and numerous grandchildren to spoil. I have three beautiful daughters and a Miniature Schnauzer. I'm interested in anything that supports healthy families and healthy lifestyles. Archives
