Thought I'd have a little fun with the book cover art. Brought summer back to my sister's front porch this past weekend.

Time to vote! This is photo # 1.

Beautiful! And how fun. I bet you had a blast. I'm kind of partial to #2. I like seeing the quilt in #3, but the reflection in the window is kind of distracting. #1 is good, too, but when I think of love, I think of a love seat, not room for 3....maybe I'm a tad superstitious. Good luck deciding! They're all beautiful...it will be a hard choice!

Well said Missy! I did have a lot of fun and I know that if the publisher picks one of these they will have to do some fixing to the window. I have a new respect for photographers...so many things to watch. We just had a hard time keeping fall leaves out of photo.

Wow, Carol! Those are really lovely pictures. It's tough to say which is the best. They really show the porch in the story. Now, if we could just get Emily curled up on the loveseat.....lol. Can't wait to see what happens next. Hubby and I are so excited for you.

Thanks Pat. You are always so encouraging...a great friend! I can't wait to see what Tate does with the cover art. They may not even use these photos but even if they don't it gives them an idea of my vision. Have a great trip and visit with your family!

I really like phone #1. It just has a cozy feel about it and I could see a couple sitting and talking together there. The atmosphere looks inviting and comfortable. We wish you Godspeed and all the best on your very first book. So excited for you! Love you, Rose.

I LOVE the cross-lighting! I think #1 looks more like a porch scene....#2 is crisp and clean, but if you didn't see the siding in the back, it could look indoor. My vote would be for #1 with a little tighter cropping on the right. I love that this is happening for you!! Congratulations!!!! Can't wait to get my signed copy!

Thanks Sharon. I was really happy with the lighting too. Funny that it look so summery when these were taken in late October.

C,
After much staring, I realized why #1 seemed so appealing, yet
melancholy. With the lighting and placement of the furnitiure, it
seems as thought it is a place that is waiting, not just beautiful
furnitiure. Good luck!!

Thanks Deb. Beautifully put. Waiting for Daniel and Emily to start building the rest of their lives together.

Number 1 is turning out to be a favorite not only on-line but as I have shown these photos in person as well. Remember to keep Feb 8th on your calendar for my upcoming book signing.
