 This past weekend my sister and I visited the place where our grandmother last lived. She died when I was 13. She had a beautiful lilac bush on the edge of her yard.  After only 3 days in the water roots are already visible. Roots should come out the bottom of the shoot and where there are nodules where side branches or leaves had just started to show.  Day 8 and you can see the white fuzzy roots growing on the stems.
