RESCUING LOVE

Out of college, Emily McBride had her dream husband and thought she had it all; until three years later doubts are planted in her mind that Daniel is unfaithful to her and their unborn child. Amidst her confusion tragedy strikes and their baby is lost along with Emily's memories of Daniel and their life together. Confused, alone, and with no knowledge of her husband, Daniel is forced to send Emily back to live with her parents.
A year later, through a series of chance encounters, Emily encounters her husband again, but she doesn't even remember his name. As they seemingly start anew, she feels the pull of buried memories as their relationship begins to blossom. Can she remember all her husband has done for her since the accident, even as the past creeps back in and memories resurface?
Rescuing Love will only be possible if they face their inner demons and learn to trust again.

"A heartwarming story of love, loss, and rebirth. Carol Denekas is a strong writer whose story engages all the senses and pulls you in from the very beginning. It made me yearn for home and brought to the forefront the appeal of small-town life again. I eagerly await her next book." Anonymous from www.barnesand noble.com

"I really enjoyed this book. This book may be short but it kept me interested all the way to the end. The author's writing style pulled me in and made me want to take the journey with Daniel and Emily. While the ending may not be a total surprise to readers, the journey to get there made for interesting reading & kept me turning the pages to find out what would happen next. And there were a few surprises along the way that I did not see coming! This is a lovely book about the power of love and forgiveness. I can't wait for the author's next book." D. Schrandt from www.amazon.com

Hello. I am the one that met you at the bed and breakfast in November with your sister. I just checked out your Rescuing Love book at our local library in Nashua yesterday and finished it this afternoon. It was very good and I didn't want to put it down. It was different for me to read something from someone I had actually met and visited with. Good luck with your next projects.

This book definitely deserves 5 stars. Once I started reading I didn't want to put it down. The whole way through the book I was on the 'edge of my seat'. All the way up to the end of the book the book had my interest and wondered what happened next. Very well written. I would definitely recommend reading this book for anyone out there especially those that like romance and/or country living novels. K. Mescher
I received this wonderful comment this morning from a reader. What a beautiful start to a very busy day:) Rita, thank you for sharing with me and your friends.
I started to read "Rescuing Love" one evening prior to the author visit to our library - could not put it down and stayed up into the night reading to the end. My heart went out to both Emily and Daniel and also her parents. I've passed my book to several friends and they all report that they also were not able to put the book down until the end. Thank you Carol for a beautiful book.
